Amy Massillamany was elected to the Hamilton County Council in 2011. She represents District 2 which includes Delaware, Fall Creek and Wayne Townships.
Massillamany was born in Indianapolis and graduated from Carmel High School. She attended Indiana University/Purdue University-Indianapolis where she graduated with a degree in Public Affairs. She has spent the past 15 years working in sales and is currently the Director of Client Development at RGP, a global consulting firm that specializes in Finance, Accounting, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Information Management, Human Capital and Corporate Advisory.
Prior to serving on the Council, Massillamany served as a Precinct Committeeman, a volunteer for the Hamilton County Republican Party as well as a volunteer for multiple grassroots initiatives for local, state and national races.
Massillamany has been instrumental in advocating for partnerships with local cities, towns, and school systems, supporting the County’s technological advances and initiatives and spearheading a market driven analysis of the County’s employee pay structure. She also represents the council as a member of the Workforce Recovery Task Force, created to assist in connecting job seekers and businesses as a result of the pandemic.
In addition, Massillamany currently serves as a liaison/committee member for the Hamilton County Economic Development Corporation, ISS/GIS/Web, Court Administration, Emergency Management Agency, Hamilton County Humane Society, Personnel & Management Committee, Public Safety Communications Committee, and the County Business Plan Committee.
Massillamany lives in Fishers with her two sons, Jackson and Sullivan. When she’s not working, she enjoys great food, watching the Indiana Pacers, travelling and enjoying the company of family and friends.
