Beginning Monday, April 30, 2018, Beaty Construction Inc. will begin construction of a new roundabout at SR-37 and Strawtown Avenue. Restrictions are expected to last 90 days.
Beaty will begin restricting SR-37 with traffic signals, allowing only one direction of traffic to pass over the SR-37 bridge (north of the intersection) at a time. One signal will be on SR-37 just north of Madison Street (south of Strawtown Avenue), while the other will be north of the bridge on SR-37, between Strawtown Avenue and SR-213.
During this restriction, Strawtown Avenue will be closed on both sides of SR-37 (see detour map).
If you have any questions, you may contact the Greenfield District of the Indiana Department of Transportation by phone at 855-463-6848, by email at eastcentralin@indot.in.gov, or follow their project page for the roundabout here.
