[ARCHIVED] WNV spray schedule updated for 8/15

ISDH notified the Health Department of additional positive sites on 8/14, these sites are in the Fishers and Carmel areas.  The Health Department is scheduling personnel to perform adult spray control measures this evening.   Please look at the Mosquito Control web site for the latest updates and scheduled areas.  Adult spraying will begin at approximately sunset (8:45 PM) and conducted within a one mile radius of the trap site.   If you do not desire spray in your area please contact the Vector control program, we will make every effort to turn off spray applicators (engine continues to run) in the close vicinity of a no spray request.

West Nile Virus is active in the county, when outdoors please use mosquito repellents when outdoors at anytime of day, most active vector mosquito biting will occur from dusk to dawn.   Help reduce mosquito breeding sites by dumping water container sources.
