[ARCHIVED] Interstate 69 Lane Restrictions (INDOT)

Walsh Construction Company plans to temporarily close up to three lanes of Interstate 69 next week for overnight painting of the 106th Street interchange (Exit 204) bridges being built in Fishers. Closures are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. on the dates below and end before 6 a.m. the next day.

• Monday, Nov. 14 - Up to three left lanes of northbound and southbound I-69 will be closed.
• Tuesday, Nov. 15 - Up to three right lanes of northbound and southbound I-69 will be closed.
• Wednesday, Nov. 16 - Up to three left lanes of northbound and southbound I-69 will be closed.
• Thursday, Nov. 17 - Up to three right lanes of northbound and southbound I-69 will be closed.

Crews will be painting beams on two new bridges. Work is dependent on favorable weather, and construction schedules are subject to change. Specific closure schedules will be announced as work progresses.

Motorists are reminded that the speed limit near the construction zone is reduced to 55 mph and may be reduced to 45 mph during overnight working hours. Motorists are advised to pay attention to work zone warning signs, follow posted speed limits, avoid distractions, and drive sensibly near construction zones.
