Ice Lanterns & Winter Garland for the Solstice

Celebrate the solstice by creating an ice lantern and fresh garland to decorate your home. You will begin your ice lanterns at the Taylor Center of Natural History, but you will finish them by taking them home to freeze. Garland will be made onsite. We will have small heaters on our porch crafting area, in hopes of keeping the chill away. Both activities will take place outside, so please dress for the weather. We ask that participants take a photo of their ice lantern and garland once completed, to be shared on our social media, in celebration of the winter solstice.
