The Hamilton County Highway Department has jurisdiction over approximately 220 miles of Chip-Seal Roads. Annually, the Highway Department resurfaces approximately 55 miles of Chip-Seal roads in rural areas of the county. The Chip-Seal resurface program is administered by Highway Department Maintenance crews.
