Jail Division Employment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • United States Citizen
  • Valid Driver’s License (Valid Indiana License by appointment)
  • No felony convictions
  • High School Graduate or High School Equivalency Diploma
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Pass all the components of the Selection Process
  • No dishonorable discharge or undesirable discharge from any Armed Forces branch
  • No misdemeanor conviction of domestic violence
  • Pass stringent drug screen

Step 1 Pre-Application

Step 2 Application Process

Once your Pre application is received and reviewed you will be contacted via phone and or email you provided on your pre-application to set a date and time to take a standardize correction recruitment test that will be administered on site. You will also be sent a link to fill out and submit the full application, Application for Corrections Officer (PDF). Both are required to move on to the next steps of the process.  

Step 3 Interview

After you have taken and received a passing score on the standardize test and we have received your full application correctly filled out you will be contacted to schedule an interview.
