Current Status


7/6/21: Construction is underway. 206th Street between Centennial Road and Lamong Road is now closed to all thru traffic for the duration of construction. The estimated project completion date is Wednesday, September 1, 2021. 

Local traffic will continue to have access to their homes, while thru traffic is asked to utilize the posted detour route.

Reason for Project


Existing dual CMP pipes have deteriorated at various locations, and the structure is at the end of it's life span.

Project Scope


Proposed new design will entail two 12ft lanes and 4 ft shoulders, with combined roadway width of 32 ft.  It will be able to accommodate Q100 flood event with additional 2 ft of freeboard for unexpected flood events.

Funding


This project will be funded using revenue from the County Option Income Tax fund.
